The 2025 Joint Council Workshop was a significant gathering that brought together representatives from various Councils of the Philippine Lasallian Family. Held at the Malate Ballroom, of Hotel Benilde Maison De La Salle, the event served as a platform to align the collective vision and mission of the Lasallian network.

The workshop aimed to establish a clear path for the future of Lasallian education, focusing on developing strategies that uphold the network’s values and respond to emerging challenges. It also emphasized the importance of fostering a strong sense of community and shared purpose among members of the Councils, reinforcing their collective commitment to the Lasallian mission of providing transformative education rooted in faith, service, and communion.

The program began with the De La Salle Philippines Corporation Meeting, led by Mr. Edgar O. Chua AFSC, President of DLSP, who presented a comprehensive summary of the organization's ongoing initiatives.

 

This was followed by a Conversation with the President of De La Salle Brothers, Inc., and Brother Visitor, Br. Jose Mari L. Jimenez, FSC who provided an insightful overview of the Parallel Sessions, ensuring all stakeholders were aligned with the day's objectives and agenda.

A key moment during the event was the official unveiling of Project Miles, introduced as the updated name for Project 2022. This campaign symbolizes progress and a renewed spirit of innovation as the Lasallian community continues to redefine education in response to a rapidly changing world.

Our Lasallian partners conducted Parallel Sessions on key aspects of the mission. Mr. Jose Jerome Pascual, Team Chair of the Viability Team, facilitated the discussion on Shared Services. Mr. Benhur Ong, Team Member of Leadership and Governance, facilitated the discussion on Continuing Professional Education, while Dr. Carmelita Quebengco AFSC, Team Chair of Leadership and Governance , led the discussion on Governance. Dr. Allan I. Bernardo, Team Chair of Educational Excellence, discussed Learning Innovation, and Br. Joaquin Martinez, FSC, focused on Extending the Reach of Lasallian Education.

The 2025 Joint Council Workshop marked another step forward in uniting efforts to shape a brighter, more cohesive future for Lasallian education in the Philippines.
