De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU), founded by Don Salvador Araneta, was accepted as a District school in 2002. Formerly known as Araneta Institute of Agriculture (AIA), it transferred to its current location in Victoneta Park, Malabon from San Jose del Monte, Bulacan in 1947. It was granted university status in 1958 and renamed Gregorio Araneta University (GAU).
DLSAU aims to become a leading university in Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary Sciences and other relevant programs in humanities and technology as its responds to the needs and challenges of a developing Philippine society and economy.
